TEXAS POETS PODCAST PROGRAMS

Created by poet Terry Jude Miller, literature professor Dr. Stephen Souris, poet Anne McCrady and Texas Poet Laureate Karla Morton and produced by InSpiritry, this monthly series of audio interview programs is a first in Texas! Each 20-30 minute podcast features a conversation with a well-known Texas poet about the poetry landscape of Texas and about a selected poem written by another Texas poet. Guests also share a poem of their own. Host for the podcasts is Texas Woman's University English professor Dr. Stephen Souris. Our sessions are recorded at Texas Christian University in the KTCU radio station studio as well as in other Texas public radio studios. Texas Poets Podcast sessions are posted here at InSpiritry, at the Texas Poets Podcast website, on SoundCloud and on iTunes
